On 9-10 November 1938, 16 Heshvan 5699 (Hebrew Dated), eighty-one years ago, a wave of violent anti-Jewish pogroms spread throughout Germany, annexed Austria, and in areas of the Sudetenland in Czechoslovakia recently occupied by German troops.
