A Day to Remember

To Whom it May Concern:

It has been twenty seven years since I wrote my first “5 June letter,” which became the first chapter of my testimony of “Walking With the Enemy.” Not only is this an important anniversary on a personal level, but there are many noteworthy events that took place on this Day in History—from space exploration, to wars, victories, defeats, injustices, corruption, evil, life, and death, to prophecy being fulfilled—all of which reveals that the hand of Almighty God is directly involved in the affairs of men, but so is the “god of this world” (2 Corinthians 4:4), who is “that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world” (Revelation 12:9).

Here are just a few highlights as to why this is A Day to Remember!

5 June 0070 Roman Emperor, Titus Flavius Caesar Vespasianus Augustus, and his Roman legions breached the middle wall of Jerusalem. His army destroyed the city of Jerusalem, along with the Second Temple, reportedly on Tisha B’Av, in fulfillment of prophecy.

Matthew 24:1-2 “And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and His disciples came to Him for to shew Him the buildings of the temple.

And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.”

Titus died of a fever in the year 0081 at the age of forty-one.

5 June 1944: The D-Day invasion was initially planned for this day, but General Eisenhower cancelled the major coordinated attack due to the weather. And on 6 June 1944, Allied forces launched a combined naval, air, and land assault on Nazi-occupied France. Ironically, German Field Marshal Erwin Rommel went on leave the day before the D-Day landings.

5 June 1945: The USA, UK, USSR, and France declare supreme authority over Germany.

5 June 1950: The U.S. Supreme Court, in Henderson v. United States, struck down racially segregated railroad dining cars.

5 June 1963: A state of siege was proclaimed in Iran, and the Ayatollah Khomeini was arrested.

5 June 1967: On this day, Israel launched a surprise preemptive strike on Egyptian airfields shortly after dawn, that destroyed nearly the entire Egyptian air force.The allied armies of Egypt–Syria, Iraq, and Jordan invaded Israel in retaliation and joined the conflict. This was known as the “Six-day War.”

5 June 1968: After claiming victory in California’s Democratic presidential primary, Senator Robert F. Kennedy was shot three times by Palestinian assassin Sirhan Bishara Sirhan, and he wounded five others, at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles, California. Kennedy, died the next day.

5 June 1991: Lesbian priest, Elizabeth Carl, was ordained in the Episcopal Church, in Washington, D.C.

5 June 1991: On this day, Space Shuttle STS 40 (Columbia 12) was launched.

5 June 1993: God led me to write a letter exposing the leaders of the Bible Study/Cult group that I had been involved with for the past three years. Unknown to me at the time, that letter would become the first chapter of my testimony of “Walking With the Enemy.”

5 June 2004: Ronald Reagan, the 40th president of the United States, died in Los Angeles (age 93).

5 June 2015: The V-(Victory) Edition of “Walking With the Enemy,” by C. Read was published on this day.It’s been thirteen years since the IV Edition came out, and I have been giving my book away for over twenty-five years, and I will continue to do so as long as God allows,

I have gotten varied responses to my testimony, from very supportive to complete indifference. I realize “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder,” and not all will appreciate it’s message, but my desire in sharing my testimony is that it will cause others to seek to be closer to Almighty God.

I have contended for many years, that we are living in the final days, right before the return of the LORD Jesus Christ, to redeem those who truly love and worship Him, and to destroy the wicked and those who hate Him. This passage from Daniel is very indicative of these times.

Daniel 12:1 “And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of Thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time Thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

Daniel 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Daniel 12:3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

Daniel 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Daniel 12:5 Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river.

Daniel 12:6 And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?

Daniel 12:7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

Daniel 12:8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?

Daniel 12:9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

Daniel 12:10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.”

It is such a time as this that we must be paying attention to all that is going on in the world, but sadly Satan has so many people distracted and believing lies in place of the truth. Christians have been pulled into the ecumenical movement, and are willing to join hands with those who preach a false gospel, by those who are actually opposed to the LORD Jesus Christ.

Here’s what God thinks about those who preach another gospel!

Galatians 1:6   “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from Him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:

Galatians 1:7   Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

Galatians 1:8   But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

Galatians 1:9   As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.”

I understand how easily unsuspecting people can be deceived, because the Devil is so sly and crafty. Satan takes no greater pleasure than to bring down a Christian, but it is my sincere hope that others will be warned about the subtle tactics of the enemy, who is intent on drawing innocent people away from God and into the Darkness.

I hope you see why this is a Day to Remember, but more importantly should you reject the true gospel, and find yourself in outer darkness, separated from God, you will never forget those who tried to get you to see the Light–the TRUE Light that is! Please prayerfully consider these important words from my Testimony:

PROPHECY OF 28 FEBRUARY 1993

“Many things you have been taught here have been done in secrecy and in darkness.

You have been taught truth mixed with lies, and the Lord says it will go on no longer!

And you are the one who has taught the lies, and the Lord says it will go on no longer in this home. And the Lord is giving you a chance to turn from your sin.

And He is so forgiving that He will not hold your sin against you if you repent. And if you do not, you will die!

And he is my husband. I love him with a love that cannot be broken. I love you too, but with a brotherly love. And I beg you to repent!

Everything you have learned here has been tainted with evil, and you can’t hold on to any of it.

The only thing that you can hold on to is the fact that Jesus Christ died for you, and by His mighty power, God raised Him from the dead.

And if you believe that in your heart, and claim Him as Lord, He will put the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead inside of you to lead you and guide you into the truth!

Light will overshadow darkness, and darkness will not be able to stand in the presence of God!”

If you have yet to receive the true gospel of the LORD Jesus Christ, while there is still time, please humbly bow before Almighty God, and Him alone!
