Something To Think About Today

My Dear Brothers and Sisters:
This is the eve of my Enemy’s most “hallowed” time when Satan carries out his most despicable and evil acts.
The Wicked One is very active in these final days, “because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.”
According to the Scriptures, as time goes on, things will get more and more wicked as we see “the Day approaching,” which is why it is so vital that we keep our eyes on the Lord Jesus Christ, our Saviour!
Remember Peter, when he was walking on the water towards Jesus, and he began to sink when he took his eyes off of the LORD, and became fearful even though Jesus told him to come to Him.
Herod had just beheaded John the Baptist, as a result of calling out the king’s sinful behavior with his brother’s wife, and it was a very desperate time for followers of Christ.
When Jesus heard about John, He wanted to be alone with His Father, but the multitudes followed after Him. And when Jesus saw their helpless state, and how much they needed Him, He had compassion for them.
Please prayerfully think about this passage where Jesus had just performed the miracle of feeding the multitudes from five loaves of bread and two fishes.
Matthew 14:22-33 “And straightway Jesus constrained His disciples to get into a ship, and to go before Him unto the other side, while He sent the multitudes away.
And when He had sent the multitudes away, He went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, He was there alone.
But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary.
And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.
But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.
And Peter answered Him and said, Lord, if it be Thou, bid me come unto Thee on the water.
And He said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.
But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.
And immediately Jesus stretched forth His hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.
Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped Him, saying, Of a truth Thou art the Son of God.”
Anyone that does not truly recognize that Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God, is on the wrong road! And for those who continue in that direction, and keep rejecting the LORD Jesus Christ, and His great sacrifice on the cross at Calvary, it will lead to Hell, death, and destruction!
People are wandering aimlessly, and searching for acceptance, love, and peace in all the wrong places! It is only through a genuine relationship with the LORD Jesus Christ, can we ever have true love and lasting peace in our hearts!
I would like to share some of the words to a beautiful song by Steve Green. And this is what I am seeing among so many people in this world Today.
“Everyday they pass me by.
I can see it in their eyes.
Empty people filled with care
Headed who knows where.
On they go through private pain.
Living fear to fear.
Laughter hides their silent cries
Only Jesus hears.
People need the Lord…
At the end of broken dreams,
He’s the Open Door.
We are called to take His Light
To a world where wrong seems right.
What could be too great a cost
For sharing life with one who’s lost?
Through His love our hearts can feel
All the grief they bear.
They must hear the words of Life
Only we can share.
When will we realize
that we must give our lives?
For people need the Lord!”
Lastly, consider this wonderful passage written by a servant of God, who suffered greatly for the cause of Christ. These words can surely bring us comfort in the midst of these very difficult and trying times in which we live!
Romans 8:35-39 “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
As it is written, For Thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Amen!
I hope to encourage you to keep looking to the LORD God for everything, and trust that He will be with us no matter what situation we find ourselves in, or what we may have to go through. It might just be that Jesus desires for us to meet up with someone that also needs the LORD!
May God be with you and your loved ones in the journey! I will always keep God’s people in my prayers, and I AM truly thankful for the prayers of all those who love and worship our LORD Jesus Christ in Spirit and in Truth!
Thank you very much for this very much needed reminders to focus our eyes and heart to Jesus Christ because the world around us, and the enemy of our souls are trying their best to defeat us or to take us away from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
But Praise the Lord because He is always there to catch us when we sink, and nothing can separate us from His love.
Let us keep ourselves strong in the Lord and in the power of His might!
To God be the glory for His grace and faithfulness every morning!
We keep you in our hearts and Prayers along with your loved ones my Dearest Friend and Prayer Partner.
Very grateful fellow servant of the Most High God;
