Something To Think About!
Twenty-One years ago Today, the world was forever altered due to the horrific events of 9/11. It was a Day everything changed, and it will NEVER be forgotten by those directly affected, especially those who lost loved ones!
God can use the tragedies and repercussions of that Day to humble us and bring us closer to Him, if we would only trust Him. As the Scriptures reveal, “all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.”
However, if we do not truly love God, or if we are not called by God to be involved in His work in this world, we will not be able to see how He is using “all things,” even things that the Devil intends for evil, and turning it around for our good and God’s glory!
We must be willing to examine our lives to see if we are being faithful to God and His Holy Word, and being obedient to what He requires. As I said, God can use hardships, disappointments, and tragedies of this life, to show us where we may be failing. Seriously reflect on these words from the LORD Jesus Christ, the One who has all power in heaven and earth!
Matthew 21:42 “Jesus saith unto them (chief priests and elders), Did ye never read in the Scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?
Matthew 21:43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.
Matthew 21:44 And whosoever shall fall on this Stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.”
My Dearly Beloved in Jesus;
Dearest Friend and Prayer Partner;
Thank you so much for this important reminder in remembrance of this very tragic event. Last Sunday, we meditate on the “Pit of Joseph”, where he displayed his calmness, and patience and, faith in times of tragedy, until the time he said to his brothers, “But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.” which is a good equivalent of Romans 8:28.
Praise the Lord for His wonderful grace in Jesus that gives us the confidence in every trial and tragedy that we face from day to day as we desire to please our Maker and Lord!
We keep Praying for you and your ministry everyday. Please keep yourself strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
