I initially posted this on 19 April 2024, the anniversary of a very dark day in the history of the US. I added an Addendum in honor of Passover, the memorial of when Jesus gave His precious Life, so men might be saved.

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT
The final book of the Old Testament, is so indicative of the times we are living in, and I encourage you to read all four chapters, but for time sake I hope you will prayerfully consider this passage.
Malachi 3:15 “And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered.
Malachi 3:16 Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon His name.
Malachi 3:17 And they shall be Mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that Day when I make up My jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
Malachi 3:18 Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth Him not.”
The final days will be marked by great deception, just as Jesus warned about, and we really need the discernment that only the LORD can give by His Holy Spirit.
Hebrews 10:22 “Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for He is faithful that promised;)
Hebrews 10:24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the Day approaching.”
God takes great pleasure when His people who truly love Him, gather together to worship Him, and sing praises to His Name. And He promises to be with us, even when it’s just a few!
Matthew 18:20 [Jesus said,] “For where two or three are gathered together in My name, there Am I in the midst of them.”
We are living in evil times, and some claim to have it all figured out how the end is going to play out, but we need to be prepared for whatever may come.
It was on 19 April 1993 that David Koresh, and his followers who remained with him, were consumed by the fire on that fateful day. Koresh was a very wicked man, who claimed to be Christ, and his followers were blindly committed to him, even unto death! My testimony of “Walking With the Enemy,” will warn innocent people about the dangers of trusting in a man, or a movement!
Addendum for Passover
23 April 2024 / 15 Nisan 5784
Considering the turmoil, destruction, and wars surrounding Israel today; and given the fact that their enemy was able to overcome and destroy so many innocent Jewish lives on the early morning of 7 October 2023, (which notably was the eighth day of the Feast of Tabernacles), it would seem that God is using those who hate His people, to chasten them.
The people of the Nation of Israel have again followed after the ways of the world, something of which God abhors, and has warned them about! Their man-made laws allow for the killing of little babies, just as the US has done for decades; they condone the aberrant lifestyles that are an abomination to God; and for those reasons and more, the Judgment of God has fallen on Israel AND the US!
There IS a remedy, if only God’s people would truly, from their hearts, diligently obey the voice of God! Please consider these verses from the Word of God:
Deuteronomy 30:19 “I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
Deuteronomy 30:20 That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey His voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto Him: for He is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.”
Zechariah 8:16 “These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates:
Zechariah 8:17 And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the LORD.”
Regardless of where we are at in the timeline of History, we must keep in mind that nothing catches God off guard. Satan has much power, but the LORD, maker of Heaven and earth, has supreme authority over the affairs of men.
And remember, Jesus Christ, the “Lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world” (John 1:29) is the only One “worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof.” (Revelation 5)
God is the One who decides when the Evil One—the son of perdition, will be revealed (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4), but according to God’s Holy Word, we can “see the Day approaching” (Hebrews 10:25).
No matter your view of “the time of the end,” (Daniel 8:17; 11:35,40: 12:4,9), God’s people need to be watching and ready with the full armour of God on! (Ephesians 6:10-20)
People have become so hateful towards God and one another, just as God said it would be like in the Final Days, but there is still time to call out to God. But one Day, for those who continue to reject the love and mercy of God, and refuse to repent of their sin, it will be too late!
Malachi 4:1 “For, behold, the Day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the Day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
Malachi 4:2 But unto you that fear My name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in His wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
Malachi 4:3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the Day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.
Malachi 4:4 Remember ye the law of Moses My servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.
Malachi 4:5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful Day of the LORD:
Malachi 4:6 And He shall turn the heart of the father to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.”
Irrespective of what rebellious Jews have done in the past, and are still doing, God will have mercy on His “chosen people,” especially those who “have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge;” and then they will see that the LORD Jesus Christ is indeed their Messiah. (Romans 10:2)
I encourage you to read the full chapters for context, but I hope you will prayerfully consider these words given to Zechariah by the Holy Spirit.
Zechariah 8:23 “Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.”
Zechariah 12:9-11a “And it shall come to pass in that Day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon Me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for Him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for Him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
In that Day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem…”
For those still with me, I have one last passage I hope you will really think about! God is keeping track, and He will judge those who come against His people.
Zechariah 14:12 “And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.
Zechariah 14:13 And it shall come to pass in that Day, that a great tumult from the LORD shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.
Zechariah 14:14 And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the heathen round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance.
Zechariah 14:15 And so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, and of all the beasts that shall be in these tents, as this plague.
Zechariah 14:16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.
Zechariah 14:17 And it shall be, that whose will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.”
Without the “living water” that only God provides, we cannot survive, which is why we NEED the LORD! And I hope I have encouraged you to stay close to the LORD God in His Word, and by prayer. May God be with you and your loved ones in these very difficult and trying times in which we live!
For all who are “born again” of His Spirit, Jesus Christ is our Passover Lamb, and it is only because of His great sacrifice on the cross at Calvary, that we have salvation, and eternal life in Heaven! Amen!
All praise, honor, and glory to the One, True, and only Living God, who dearly loves us! And because HE LIVES, we can face tomorrow, all the way to the end!
